An adventure novel for young readers, following five teenagers as a summer in the Scottish Highlands takes an unexpected turn involving a lost iPhone, a local wind farm and suspected industrial espionage.

My first full book illustration project, I was commissioned to create the visual world of Operation Perilous Magnetism, from the front and back covers to 35 hand-drawn chapter headings and a series of detailed maps charting the story's Highland setting.

The illustrations were created by hand in pen and wash, combining detailed observational drawing with a sense of adventure and discovery to complement Andrew Evennett's story.
