Meet Brad…

I'm an illustrator, designer and sketchbook obsessive with a background in architecture, carpentry and design.

My work specialises in bringing places, ideas and stories to life through hand-drawn illustration. From architectural drawings and interpretive graphics to book illustrations, maps and detailed cross-sections, I enjoy creating artwork that is both informative and full of character.

Before becoming a full-time illustrator, I trained in architecture and spent several years working in design, carpentry and heritage crafts. That hands-on experience gives me a unique perspective when drawing buildings, landscapes and the built environment, allowing me to combine technical understanding with engaging visual storytelling.

Today I work with publishers, environmental organisations, designers, charities and businesses across the UK. Recent clients include Natural England, BBC Bitesize, Bikepacking Journal and Heneb - The Trust for Welsh Archaeology

When I'm not drawing, you'll usually find me exploring the coastline, surfing, hiking, travelling in my self-converted campervan Forrest or filling sketchbooks with observations from the places I visit. Many of those adventures find their way back into my artwork.
