Meet Brad…

I'm an illustrator and designer based in Cornwall, with a background in architecture, carpentry and heritage crafts.

I bring places, ideas and stories to life through hand-drawn illustration. My work often sits somewhere between technical drawing and visual storytelling, creating artwork that explains something clearly without losing its character.

Before becoming a full-time illustrator, I trained in architecture and worked across design, carpentry and heritage crafts. That hands-on background gives me a different perspective when drawing buildings, landscapes and the places people interact with.

I now work with publishers, environmental organisations, designers, charities and businesses across the UK. Recent clients include Natural England, BBC Bitesize, Bikepacking Journal and Heneb – The Trust for Welsh Archaeology.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm usually somewhere outside. Exploring the coast, surfing, hiking or travelling in my self-converted campervan, Forrest. I fill sketchbooks wherever I go, and those observations often find their way back into my work.
