“Adventure wagon, studio on wheels and, from time to time, my rolling cabin home.”

After years of designing and building for other people, I wanted to create something entirely my own. I wanted a cabin, but I had no land!…

So in 2020 I bought a standard Renault Master and set about turning it into a tiny home and rolling studio. I sketched the first ideas, developed the space in 3D and built it by hand using locally sourced ash, oak and larch alongside reclaimed materials.

‘Forrest’ has taken me from the most westerly point of Cornwall to the most southerly point of Italy.

A five-year labour of love, he brings together everything I love about design, making, adventure and small-space living.
