Oak Frame Design
In February 2018 I took a frame designer role with Paragon Oak Ltd. This allowed me to see all aspects of a small but efficient oak framing company. The role involved a mix of both project management and frame design which required me to quote for work, quantify and order oak, attend site visits and regularly meet with clients. I used detailed drawings, 3D models and realistic renders for each unique project to create a visual response to a clients brief.
The experience was a great insight into the timber framing world. Having both the office and workshop experience of timber framing has really helped me understand the process of as a whole!
